About us

Wallpaper Work Built on Careful Prep

Luxury Wallpaper Installer is a wallpaper installation company based in Sunrise, serving homeowners and businesses across Broward County. We handle the full job: removing old paper, repairing and priming walls, and hanging new wallcovering so seams sit tight and patterns line up. We work with traditional pasted papers, grasscloth, vinyl, murals, and peel-and-stick products. We handle each one differently because each one behaves differently on the wall. South Florida adds its own challenge. From May through October the air is hot, humid, and wet, and moisture affects how drywall, plaster, and adhesive perform. We check wall conditions before we start and let materials acclimate when the product calls for it. We plan prep around your room instead of following a one-size routine. Before any work begins, we walk through the space with you, talk about the paper you've chosen, and explain what your walls need. Our goal is a finished room that looks right up close and holds up over time.

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Prep Comes First

Most wallpaper problems start with the wall underneath. We remove old paper and adhesive, patch holes and cracks, smooth rough areas, and prime before hanging so the new paper bonds to a clean, even surface.

  2. Clear Communication

We explain what your walls need, how long the job should take, and what to expect on install day. If we find hidden damage once old paper comes down, we show you and talk it through before going further.

  3. Respect for Your Home

We cover floors, move and protect furniture as needed, and keep the work area tidy. When the job is done, we clean up trimmings, paste residue, and debris so you can use the room.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call (561) 510-8212 and we’ll talk it through.

Can you hang new wallpaper over old wallpaper?

We generally recommend against it. Old paper can loosen, bubble, or show seams through the new layer. In most cases we remove the existing paper, repair the wall, and prime it so the new wallcovering has a sound base.

Does South Florida humidity affect wallpaper?

It can. From May through October the air here is hot, humid, and wet, which affects how walls and adhesives behave. We check wall conditions, use adhesives suited to the product, and let materials acclimate when the manufacturer recommends it.

Do I need to buy the wallpaper myself?

Many homeowners choose and buy their own paper. We can help you figure out how much to order based on your room size and the pattern repeat, so you don't come up short or buy far more than you need.

What is wall preparation, and why does it matter?

Wall prep includes removing old paper and glue, patching holes and cracks, smoothing textured or damaged areas, and priming. Wallpaper shows every flaw underneath it, so good prep is a big part of how the finished wall looks.

Is grasscloth harder to install than regular wallpaper?

Grasscloth is made from natural fibers and needs careful handling. It can stain if paste gets on the face, and color often varies from panel to panel. We take extra care with layout, trimming, and cleanliness when working with it.

Is peel-and-stick wallpaper worth having installed by a professional?

Peel-and-stick looks simple, but it's easy to stretch, misalign, or trap air bubbles. Professional installation helps with straight seams and pattern matching, and we make sure the wall surface is ready so the product sticks properly.

Do you work on ceilings and commercial spaces?

Yes. We install ceiling wallpaper in homes, and we install vinyl and other commercial wallcoverings in offices, retail spaces, and other businesses.

How long does a typical wallpaper job take?

It depends on the room size, the paper type, and how much removal and repair the walls need. An accent wall may take part of a day, while a full room with removal and prep takes longer. We give you a time estimate after seeing the space.
